Review: We ate there and the food was good. The manager and service staff were truly commendable.
Reason for not shortlisting: If you have more than 8 tables,  the layout will be quite awkward - the tables at the end isn't able to see any screen at all due to some carpentry works.

Review: Their décor was considerably nice compared to many Chinese restaurants in Johor.
Reason for not shortlisting: Slightly out of our budget.

Review: The sales manager was really nice and patient. Didn't get to try the food.
Reason for not shortlisting: We did not have enough numbers to hit the minimum required.

KSL Resort

Reason for not shortlisting: We had a terribly hard time trying to contact the banquet manager, failed after emailing thrice and going down personally to look for her twice. Totally gave up after 5 tries.

P.S. Do note that it's the norm for Chinese restaurant in Malaysia to not include alcohol and food tasting in their packages. Music for march-in is included for most of their packages so do let them know if you would like to use your own.  And for wedding from June onwards, GST will be included for all restaurants.
